Below are two photos of this morning's "unveiling" of the mystery engine - now everyone knows it is a O-320 Lyc that is built up by Superior.

Nope the bigger tail came before the o320 for other reasons explained in the last newsletter. The new tall spring steel gear is because of the o320

Nick, I know about the stability improvements, more than most!
Would a heavier engine not need a bigger tail though?

Only if the the cg was different. We have got the engine placed such that the delta between the jab and lyc is very close.
