We can supply a piston set with the new 3 ring pistons for the HS6A engine and the AI14RA engine.. A set of new pistons and rings is about $1,980 (about $220 each). The new design with modern design rings reduces oil consumption in the 40% range. We have clients with M14P engines that claim that the oil is still clear (not black) after 15 to 20 hours of operations. We developed this for the Chinese as part of an HS6 engine overhaul program for them.
We can also offer a slightly higher compression (6.3 to 1 instead of the 5.9 to 1). You would need to be careful about the fuel octane (at least 91 octane), but would have more horse power.
In either case we would need to confirm that your engine has standard 105.00 MM)or first oversize size (105.15 mm) cylinders.
