pitot mast

I'm making my own pitot mount         .... similar to the Gretz mount ..... and need to know how long         to cut the mast.

         I know it's only $100           but I get to use the welder and the plasma cutter!!!

SafeAir1's is only $54.  The mast measures just a little under 5.25"     (hard to tell exactly, because it is installed).

Linn, Just measured mine, it’s 4 3/16” from the top surface where the nut plates are attached to the bottom end

Yeah, why should I do 10 layers of glass build up for the windshield, each hand sanded, when I can just buy and rivet a retainer strip instead? Oh, I forgot, I just love composite work and got an RV kit by mistake when I really wanted a Lancair...................
