Looking at installing ADS-B. What are most people going with? one inexpensive option is upgrading my garmin gtx330 transponder to ES
and receiving traffic on fore flight through stratus2(which i already had because i wanted to get rid of xm weather fees) Has anyone done the 330 upgrade?
My concern with the 330 upgrade to 1090ES is unless i'm near a ground station I won't get air to air from UAT ADS-B planes.
Why the FAA had to go with 2 bands sure makes this more complicated than it should.
