Hi all, I have a 1984 Nanchang CJ-6 and my Tach-generator is acting up. Does anyone know the location of this device on the airframe?
Thanks,
Jeff

It's on top of the engine air start distributor. My experience was that
there was a broken wire in the wiring harness cannon plug which was easily
fixed.

Doc, the M-14 Tach Generator in connected directly into the same
accessory drive gearing that also drives the air start distributor.
