Dave
There's a discrepancy between the article in your flaperons directory (file 001.jpg) which says that the angle of the flaperon bellcrank with the horizontal should be 11.5 degrees and the instructions (page 27, file 007.jpg) which say 19-20 degrees.
Can anyone corroborate either figure as correct?
Sacha

My assembly manual from 1994 says 11.4 degrees.

Dave's files are from the later manual version...2003 I think...when they included rigging "reflex" or "negative" flap setting to act as a spoiler. this may account for the difference in the instructions. I'll have to do some deep thinking on this.

Anyone else know for sure?

Mine is set at 11.4 degrees and flys straight and level hands off with no roll problems when flaps deployed.

Tom
Thanks for that. It makes sense that (in the new post 2003 setup) if the first 8 degrees are dedicated to the spoiler region, then the flaperon angle with the flap lever full forward should be 19.5 instead of 11.5.
I went and checked my setup today and the flaperon angle seems about 5 degrees *above* the horizontal instead of 11.5 degrees below. I'll have to find a proper digital level to take precision measurements and make the appropriate adjustments.
I still haven't heard back from Kitfox about my enquiry to purchase a manual.
Regards
Sacha

I haven't ordered anything lately but when I do I call and leave a message. They always called me back pretty soon afterwards.

Being in Europe I generally prefer email but I'll try calling them this week.
