This Commander crashed on a golf course covered in snow, the film doesn't say where, but the paint scheme on the plane is pretty unique. Anyone know anything more? Glad everyone is safe.

It was a fire spotter aircraft, crashed shortly after taking off out of Denver. Not sure what caused it.

I tracked down the company (American East Airways Inc.) and talked to either the owner or a representative. (I wanted to know if he would be interested in N47RF (500-S) which I recently bought from NOAA. He was not.)
I asked him if the Commander had been misfuelled. He said no, the plane had just come out of an extensive overhaul and they discovered the hard way that the fuel gauge was faulty.
He has three 500-B's and one 500-S. He is going to use the parts from N93AA as a spare parts kit.
