I believe recently there was a discussion about the requirements with the local FISDO, in the area of the new home base, about what they would require.
I just recently received my new paperwork, due to a prop change and the proficiency area removal from my paperwork and don't want to have to go thru it again.
I am moving my CJ to Gainesville Ga in late August, from Miami and have to get with the Atlanta FISDO. Has anyone had any experience with Atlanta? Good or bad? Once I move home base, I will have 2 months to resolve this in order to fly back to Stewart for their show on Nov 1st.
Thanks

Hello Gary,
I flew my CJ from California to Lawrenceville which is just north of Atlanta
in 2003. The Atlanta FISDO was very cooperative. They came out and did a
full inspection of the CJ (basically just walked around the CJ oohing and
awing) and issued a new airworthiness certificate. Under the new rules I
would guess you won't have to do this. You should contact the Atlanta FISDO
before you move the CJ and let them know you are moving to the Gainesville
airport. They'll probably just review your paperwork and current
airworthiness certificate and approve the move. Be aware, it is critical
that you contact them before you move the airplane. I live just 15 miles
north of Gainesville and kept my CJ at the Gainesville airport for the last
4 years before selling it last year.
Let me know if you need any help with maintenance, etc. once you get to
Gainesville.

FAA Order 8130.2F says your ops limits and A/W cert do not expire. Believe new 2.G is same. Just do as Dave says.
