Our KF-IV is nearly completed, but I just watched the Kitfox video of the spring gear flexing on landing. The center of the grove gear flexes 2 or 3 inches below the belly. My concern is our brake lines breaking with gear flex. Our lines come through the center console out the belly in the fuselage center, then zip tie to the gear and run outward to the fittings in the gear near the fuselage sides. My concern is that the amount the gear moves down below the belly will tear the lines loose. Other than re-doing the brakes lines so they come down the sides of the fuselage or cutting the zip ties and letting the lines flap in the breeze, does anyone have a better idea?
thanks,
Clem
