Hi all,

Most have probably figured out how to make nice slots without drilling
countless holes in nearly a straight line. I used an Olfa Knife with a
straight edge and a little help from my friends needle nose vice grips and
snips. see attached photos.

Now for my question: If one adds auxillary fuel tanks are they identical to
the ones that come in the 701 wing kit or are they a different size.

Regards,

Perry

Nicely done, Perry
I too use this technique on aluminum, but when I read "slots" on the heading of your note, I thought about the slots on the firewall, for the steering rods.

(I have been working on that area, so it's natural.)
To make those slots, I used this tool, available from the usual sources:
http://www.adelnibbler.com/

It's fairly cheap at around $30, and works nicely - of course, it also works on aluminum.
Cheers

Carlos
