Hi All
Thanks for all the info on the windows. I am trying as far as possible to reproduce the windows to the original Mk4 size so if anyone does have the dimensions handy then that would be useful.
Regards
David

David,
David,
Sorry to take your question in other directions. I wonder if you will be able to find what you are looking for. When I was building my 93 kit, the side windows had an option that consisted of a triangular piece of fabric with the window sewn in. It was then glued to the area between the tubing. I had seen it and didn't like the looks. I glued my window to the fabric using a piece of lexan that came with the kit. I think what you would need is someone to come forward with the original sewn in window and measure that. Otherwise, I don't think there was a standard size as my feeling is that most builders pretty much just eyeballed it as to size.
Then after writing the preceding, I thought to look at the original construction manual pages. I will send them to you direct - to avid copyright issues - as a PDF file. There is one photograph that you could use to create ratios for a rough dimension.
