Brother Jack:
On second thought, after looking at it again, I do fear it to be a Firestar after all. It appears that on impact the leading edge collapsed back to the main spar…where the single lift strut remains attached. The size of the that spar appears thick, consistent with the 5 inch tube on the Kolb.
Might have a name from Kansas City later today.

Good catch, Jack… No center spar visible…but I can see only a single lift
strut.

.Beauford, from the screen shot on the video I don't see a center spar on the wing thats uncovered. Wonder if it was a Kolb ? Kind of hard to tell from the picture.

Beauford, I must say I think your right. Burnt wing may show the main spar.
