Need some help,
Purchased a used 912 ULS engine. Last owner deceased.
Would like to obtain information on past ownership of the engine since new.
Can anyone supply information on contacts to obtain this info?

You should have received an engine log book with the
engine. It should be up to date with all that detail !
Without a log book the engine is rather reduced in value !
Quite whether you can even use the engine will depend on
under which regime you plan to use it. I expect that in
the US it will be fine - whereas in the UK I suspect there
will be problems.

Purchased engine from wife, who reported husband flew aircraft 30 hours with this engine before passing away.
Was told he purchased engine new. But no purchase receipt.
Want to varify information before up-dateing log to reflect current status.

You can get some verifiable information from Rotax by contacting them and giving them the engine serial number which is on top left hand side of the block near the magneto end.
