If nobody has the stock items, I fabricated some out of Guden parts
and 4130 tubing. Let me know and I'll send drawings.

I've never had a situation yet where a call or email to Kitfox has not
resulted in the parts being available.

I bought a set from AutoZone. I don't remember the number that I used. I
measured it and found them at AutoZone. They worked fine no issues.

Good Luck

I called John to see about getting a set for my Avid...he is less than enthusiastic about making anything for anything earlier than a mod. IV...I was ready to pay for them, but no joy..
I was told that the drawings for them were somewhere but he was not sure where and not sure if he could find them blah blah blah..

AS far as the new Skystar owners go, I can understand the trouble with supplying a small part that has to be fabed for an aircraft they do not produce anymore. It is likely not cost effective. I will just make one myself if i need to. I guess I just need the drawings. I guess I could make more than one if needed by other. I will not be in a hurray though as I have one on the pilot side and fly solo most of the time.

If you want AVID parts get in touch with Steve Winder at AIRDALE.COM. If
it's AVID and you want it, he can supply it.

The door struts from a KF fit also.. Most parts are interchangable. My brother called to get a set of gear for a Mod. II and ended up going with the Avid wide gear as KFltd was not real keen on jigging up a set.

For the record I have purchased lots of stuff from Steve at Airdale...sorry to step on your KF toes..

I really do not need the strut, just the bracket for the door and the two balls that the strut mount to.

Glenn,

Don't know why I did not think of that. About half my airplane came from there. LOL The Ball links will be here tomorrow. Now all I need is the door bracket!!
