While I can't provide any quantitative data (sorry Bob) I can say,
based on first hand experience, that they "seem" to provide a
comparable service life as expensive advertising burdened units.
I have fixed loads, meters and such...
Any fairly simple test you'd like to see performed?

If you have some of these, perhaps you could mail
me 4 or so and I'll put them on the ol' battery
runner-downer and plot their performance against
some other devices tested. See:

It would be interesting to see where they fall in
the constellation of AA battery products.
