So Jeff, what do you do with all the planes you are building? By your own
count you have built or are building four:

(from a message sent on Jan 10th)
“1 601xl flying W/Corvair
1 601xl going to paint tomorrow W/Corvair
1 601xl ready for turtle deck Corvair built ready to install
1 601xl on order Corvair being built”

Do you convert them under the “fat ultralight” clause and sell them? Even
with the extension that loophole seems to be closing. Otherwise it would
seem you are violating the 51% rule.

Jeff,

It is looking good! One question: I see that your forward top skin above the instrument panel is screwed in place for easy removal. I am doing the same with mine. I see there is a rivet in between each screw on the forward and aft rows. What is the rivet for and what does it attach to?

Thanks,
