Someone on the AVID or KITFOX list once mentioned using PETG Sheet from

K-Mac Plastics as replacement material.

Has anyone used actually used it and if so how is working?  I'm going to

have to replace mine before first flight and will be needing to order

something soon.  Thanks.

Andy, I have never used this product, but I just ordered a piece. I am in the process of replacing a windshield in my rebuild. I had it cut from acrylic but didn't like the lack of quality in the cut job and will do it myself. I think I will call the company to request literature on machining and cuting. Thanks for bringing the product to my attention. It costs twice as much as acrylic, but sounds like it will be worthit and it is easy to order online.

Andy, I have call in to tech. He didn't answer. I left a message to call. I ordered the piece at 10am. They reported shipped at 12 noon. They're delivery is better than tech advise.
