For lifting one main wheel on my RV-6A I use a small automobile hydraulic
floor jack with a 3/4" pipe mounted vertically on the jacking pad of the
floor jack. The pipe engages the plastic buttons that Van's sells that
thread into the wing tie downs. Have used it several times. Works great.
Have also tried the gear leg clamp that Van sells but it requires removal of
the gear leg fairing and damaged the paint on the gear leg.

itself and
pulling up only on one side at a time, but will try Ed's clamp thing, and
if that doesn't work I will see if I can use the one Eddie mentioned."
