List:
I sent the below email to Jabiru AU last week but have not received a
reply. Does anyone have any idea on how you install the Carb Air Temp
Sensor on a Jabiru 3300?
"Jabiru:
I have recently hung 3300 # 1543 on my Zenair 701 and would like to
install a Carb Air Temp sensor which goes to my Grand Rapids Sport
Engine Information System. Pete of USJabiru did not know how to do it
and Grand Rapids seem to be devoid of ideas on how to do so.
An instruction that came with the probe indicated "Most carburetor
housings will be pre-drilled and tapped, with a lead or brass screw
filling the hole. If no hole exists, it will be necessary to drill
and tap one". An accompanying illustration of a Mavel Schebler Type
MA4 carb for a 6 cylinder engine indicates the tapped hole should be
1/4 X 28.
Any information you can provide would be sincerely appreciated."
Ideas and comments are solicited and would be very much appreciated.
