Nov. 10th marked the 233rd anniversary of the Founding of the United
States Marine Corps.
Nov. 11th Veterans Day, or what used to be called Armistice Day (or
Remembrance Day in other parts of the world) being the anniversary of
the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I.
None of which is appropriate for the YAK-LIST.
All of which is appropriate for any American (and many others)to show
respect for.
Each of us honor the fallen in our own ways and thank the rest who have
served. The Marines have always held a special place in their hearts
for Eleanor Roosevelt, which she earned and still deserves.
Since I am sure you will agree Bill, let's end it like that.

Could not sleep, so started surfing the web for info on what an AWAS might cost for our airpark. I came up on this unrelated article which proved somewhat interesting when you can't sleep. It's a lawyer to lawyer brief on how to approach a tort case against ATC.
