I've heard the Van's wheel pant will work. We've got them on our main
gear (see my previous post about faring the gear intersection) and
picked up a few knots. I've heard others have put the nose gear on the
FT (I think Van uses the same Chinese tire as Glasair) but you'll have
to do some glassing for our setup.
Let us know how it goes.

Use the wheel pant from New Glasair. That wheel pant is so small I doubt it will add any speed using another and you will save yourself a lot of work. A friend has all the factory wheel pants on his Glasair 2 FT and cruises 220 mph. By not carefully aligning the factory wheel pants one can loose alot of speed. He also removed his wing fairings and reflexed his flaps.
