I'm using a single center throttle and mixture control arrangement on a 650 with a Corvair /MA3SPA carb.

Any recommendations on part numbers would be appreciated. I believe I want a vernier (not a friction lock) unless someone convinces me otherwise.

Vernier is great for mixture. Not so much for throttle.

Here are the ACS Parts numbers I used...

Mixture 05-07848 A-750 CONTROL 48" RED KNOB

Throttle 05-08660 A-800 CONTROL 5 BLACK KNOB

Carb Heat 05-14300 PLAIN DURAL KNOB CONTROL 8

I could have gotten away with a shorter carb heat but it was very easy to adjust the length.

Hey Gig - would those cables you ordered have been long enough if you'd wanted to install just a single set of controls on the left side? You're going with the Corvair and MA3-SPA, right?

I plan to install a single set of these controls on the left side.

How feasible is it to adjust the length of the other two controls (throttle, mixture) if need be? Is it just a simple matter of cutting them to size, or do they have some kind of fancy end...?

Thanks,

Patrick

Throttle probably. Mixture, if mounted on the left side of the panel would need to be shorter. How much I don't know.

The only adjustment in length (other than fine end adjustment) on those is how you order it from ACS or how you route it. The throttle has to make a 180 degree turn anywhere you put in on the panel.
