Gig and Craig,
Pictures sent sepcor shows how I installed the servo. Looking back, I
probably would have mounted it on the floor on my added .032 flanged skin
doubler. My thinking at the time was if I mounted it up, I would have
better access to it. I have added a couple of stiffener straps since the
pics were taken to limit the movement of the serve, to lessen any possible
"tail wagging the dog" effect.
It is really neat flying xcountry with an AP. Last Saturday is used it on a
70NM trip with about a 40kt cross wind at altitude, and it tracked true to
GPS course line. The airplane nose was pointed about 15 degrees off the
course line. This makes for a different perspective relative to what the
GPS screen shows and what you see out the canopy - if you do not account for
the nose being pointed off.
Take Care,
Tony Graziano

Tony, do you have any photos of the servos mounted in your plane? I'm
thinking
I'll go with the Trio and would like to see the installation

Somebody (possibly Tony) sent me some pictures of servos in a 601 but now I
can't find them. They may have been for a different AP but that doesn't
matter because the servos of the different manufactures are roughly laid out
the same. If any one has pictures e-mail them to me and I'll put then in the
photo archive.
