Listeres,
How does the FAA Bill of Sale form work? Do I fill it out and mail it to Van's for signature, do they mail me one already filled out if I request it, or do I just put "Van's" under who I got it from and call it done?
Also, under "value" what's the recommend amount? What the basic airframe kit from Van's cost?
Man, I can't believe how many forms there are to register this thing...

Phone Van's and ask them for the FAA Bill of Sale Form 8050-2.
http://forms.faa.gov/forms/ac8050-2.pdf
All you should need to do is write in the amount and the N number. Van's should have typed in everything else including signing it in ink.
