That was a wonderful story. Well written, clear and concise. It's 2am and I am reading Ernest Gann's Book,
"Fate is the Hunter". I stopped to log on the internet and came across your story. It is so good, you
could have just dropped it into one of his chapters.
At 73 with a kitfox-7, I fly almost every day here in the mountains of North Idaho. I would like to do what you did but
don't know if I have it in me. You really passed a lot of good info on the customs routine and what was needed.
BTW, I saw your plane parked at Arlington and wish I had met you.
