Possibly,but using a fabric/wood combination as a baseline with all
options open.
Early Mooneys had wood wings,WW2 fighters had fabric control surfaces,etc.
Storing the original wing and replacing it with some kind of simple[no
flap] wing fabricated near the living room TV might make the "frgid"winter
passable.
A Clark Y flat bottom airfoil[Happy at 130 mph]would make construction
easier as the Brits realized with the Hurricane.
A lot can be accomplished with a $20 Harbor Freight Sabre
saw.Just some thoughts.

Hello Ted,
Sorry I missed you the other day.
I am not so sure I can help with a wood wing design. It is not really my area. I am much more of a composites engineer. If you wanted to build an extended wing in composite we should talk. It would not be hard to pull a mold off of a current wing and extend it but I would want to talk with Rich to make sure he does not have a problem with this.
