Here's a question for the group. My wife and I are thinking about flying out to Pagosa Springs, Colorado this summer to visit her cousin. The altitude of the airport is 7600 feet with a 8500 foot runway. Has anyone taken off in a Pulsar loaded to gross in these conditions? I know it takes us about 1500 feet on a 90 degree day to rotate at sea level at gross weight.
Bob, I know Big Bear is up there in alititude.

Barry, I've been in and out of pagasa few years ago with passenger, wasn't quit at gross, no problem. if possible try avoiding fliying between 1:00 and 4:00 due to thermal activity. Rex

I have flown in and out of that airport at gross. My
Pulsar us an XP-I , gross 1080 powered by a 912. The take
off roll was slow to get speed and long but after lift
off the climb out was 1000+ .
