Hi.
I´ve recently bought a 9 pot engine, which was offered
at Ebay. It was operated in the Percival Pembroke plane during
its former military life. So now since 10 weeks I make a
motorcycle from it. Since this is an English engine, I named
that bike "Bomber-Bike", and it is also published with this
name at youtube, if you like to see my videos...
But now at present, I try to make the engine operate.
Ignition is o.k., the magnetos are so good, do not even
have to use the "shower of spark unit". Oil-supply is also
assured. Just the mechanical injection pump seems not
operating. It is a Hobson MK153A
Does anyone know how to make it start pump? Does it need
another gas-pump, which work inline between the tank and
injection-pump? Any information about the function of this
type of injection system is welcome.
