Last week a B2 made a low climbing turn over the bldg where I work. It was apparently a response for a similar low pass and break done by an F-35. B2 is Northrop-Grumman and F-34 is Lockheed. No rivalries here J

Yesterday, I was driving to the airport to do some maintenance to the Pulsar when I heard a strange jet engine close by. I slowed down and WOW, there it was, a B2 making a slow climbing turn, at about 800 feet. If you have ever seen the stealth bomber do a fly by, you know what I am talking about. I stopped the car, right in the middle of the busy street, just so I could watch. What a powerful, awe inspiring sight.
I am like most pilots, hear an engine and look up to see what it is and where it is going. But, there are very few aircraft that grab my attention and hold me spell bound and I will watch until they are out of sight; any Pulsar on the ground or in the air, P51 with it's unique sound, and the B2. Each elicits a sense of pride.
Man, I am already looking forward to Oshkosh and Lawrence. Great friends, good food, and airplanes, life is good.
