NGK D9EA Spark Plugs

OK, so i go to Discount Auto to purchase the NGK D9EA and the plugs do not have the caps; has threaded tips only.  I asked them if they were sold separately.  Their reply was no and they even went to their NGK rep to ask about it...Discount Auto was told that NGK only packages the plugs with the threads-no caps.

    

   Has anyone else experienced this?

    

   Is there a location where I can buy the screw-on caps to put on the plugs?

You can take them off the old ones or jabiru usa has a bunch of them to buy. I think you have to order them in large quantities.

In the UK we ask NGK and they send us them for free, might be worth a call to them.

You can buy Champion spark plugs (RA4HC 0r   905) which come with the caps.  TEX

Another option for plugs are NGK Iridium DR9EIX.  Installed on a replace on condition basis these things offer longer life and less fouling.  Unfortunately they still come with bare threaded tops.
