Out of curiosity, why don't you finish that Glasair 1 RG and install a blended foil prop that will add another 10MPH to the cruise speed. If there is so little work left, why don't you put the plane back together and sell it for more?

Subject: Glasair 1 RG Easy Finish Project
From: "dbotich" <david.botich(at)gmail.com>
I have a Glasair 1 RG that was a complete flying aircraft that had an incident.
It ran off the runway after landing. Everything has been properly repaired by
an A&P/IA mechanic and it is now ready to start the assembly process. All logs
since new including the airframe, engine and propeller. It has a modified Lycoming
O-320 putting out approx 175HP. Very few parts are needed to complete and
I estimate about 500 man hours to finish this. It was a 200 MPH plane on 7.5
GPH, very efficient.
