We have run out of the Europa supplied green peel ply. Has anyone found an equivalent peel ply in the US? We've tried various Dacron polyester material from the fabric store but so far can't duplicate the nice way the Europa stuff absorbs resin & peels when dry. We left a voice mail at Europa to order some but were wondering if anyone knows of something to use before it arrives.

Thanks, Jim & Heather

Jim & Heather:

If you can’t get peel ply from Europa try these:

Jim & Heather…I’ve long used a lightweight (1 oz. I believe) dacron “sheath lining” which I’ve had my desired results…Fred

Dacron from a fabric store is coated with "sizing" which is a filler/finish
chemical that prevents wetting out.

AircraftSpruce or any fiberglass supplier should have non-treated dacron for peel-ply purposes
