Would like to get in touch with passionate Yak 52 owners from New Zealand to get some info on bringing my Yak over there as I may be emigrating to New Zealand from South Africa. Looks like North Island is where I am heading. Would like to know who the best maintenance guys are to speak to and also would like some info on the laws regarding M14P TBO?Is it also 500 hours in New Zealand? How do I get a airworthiness certificate etc in New Zealand. Could anyone assist? Very Happy

Try Kevin Jane - I am copying this to him. We've just sold him a 52 from
Denmark which he is currently packing up to ship, and he seems to know
everyone in the Yak community in NZ.

Great - I think you will find it very helpful. His own 52 is, I believe, now
at sea on its way to New Zealand.

Let me know if I can help with any Yak or engine related issue.

With regards

Richard
