Back at it after a long layoff.  Working on electrical/avionics and I  am in way over my head.  Bear with me-I expect this will be the first of  many posts.

 Planned system for day/night VFR is VP-X and 10 in. Dynon Skyview, no steam  gauges.  Single comm. radio (no nav.) with hand-held back-up.   Questions are:  radio selection (Dynon, Garmin, Icom, or?) and location for  SV-261 X-ponder.  I am also leaning toward a Flight Grip stick grip rather  than Infinity and planning to install a Blue Sea 9012 (Type 2, thank you Bob  Nuckolls) Master Contactor for low power drain and high reliability as I will  not have an e-bus.  ADS-B out system definition 

 is still questionable as the Dynon GPS does not meet current FAA  requirements.  It is obvious that cost and KISS are strong influences here,  but I’m keeping an open mind.  Any and all suggestions greatly  appreciated.
