OK, I'll bite!
Reasons to fill to MAX:
The more you use the lower the rolling friction
The more you use the less stopping friction
The more you use the higher the bounce
The more you use the harder you have to work at doing a good landing
The more you use the higher the plane sits
The more you use the greater the prop to ground clearance
The more you use the higher you have to step to reach the step or wing-walk
The more you use the further down the Taxi-way and Runway you can see
The more you use the further down the Taxi-way & Runway your landing light
will shine
The more you use the less chance of hitting Runway light [Except for End of
Runway Lights] see stopping distance
The more you use the less chance of hitting Taxi-way Lights
The more you use the sooner you will leave ground effect
The more you use the heavier the plane
The more you use the lower the VSI Rate
The more you use the slower your cruse speed
The more you use the more forward the CG
The more you use the more gas you will use - see heavier
The more you use the shorter the runway needed for takeoff
The more you use the longer the runway you need to stop
The more you use the more breaking action you need
The more you use the hotter the brake pads & rotor become
The more you use the more you will be replacing the brake pads
The more you use the less air ... I have to breath
Maybe that is a good thing? But, I type more than I talk.
OK, that about covers MORE air ... Anyone want to try LESS air?

The less air, the slower your hydroplane speed:
