I have a speed kit for my trigear.

I have read on the list of making a faring for the leg to fuze joint.   What is the easiest way to do this?
Thanks

The easiest way to make a plug for these aircraft is to use blue foam sanded to the desired shape. Then cover in brown tape and lay up on top of that.

I have a Europa access but in the conventional gear. Are used modeling clay as a form in which to lay up several layers of BID. Then just some filler, a little sanding, and paint.

Will,

I’m waiting for a good response as well. I need to make those fairings and have not found any means with which I am satisfied.

Thanks,
Bob Borger

BobYes quite....the flexibility issue is quite an important one....but i wonder how much the legs move in practice so close to the fuze.
