I picked up two 1/4" brass ball valves at Lowe's to use as parking brake valves. They are marked "ANSI/NSF 61-8 600 WOG 61<S 150WSP" I have absolutely no idea what all that means. Can anyone tell me if these valves would be suitable?

Rick, Yes they look a lot like that. So you're saying that this kind of ball valve is OK?

Thanks - Jay in Dallas

zodie,

I have no idea what you posted but what ever it was not viewable via the Web interface. No text, no pic, nothing.

Weird, his messages came through just fine via e-mail but the web interface
just shows empty messages from him.

I'll quote his first message and see if it gets through:

Do they look like these?

Step on the brakes, pull the handle back, and the pressure is locked
inside the
wheel cylinders. I've left it "in park" for weeks without any loss of
holding power.

Gig, You must have something wrong that is unique to your system. Both of Zodie's posts came through just fine to me, including the photos.

Jay, I don't think you are reading them via the Web Forum Interface at forums.matronics.com.

I've sent Matt and e-mail about it.

Craig & Gig, I'm not up on various places to read stuff, but I am reading it on my e-mail provider under "zenith-list(at)matronics.com", and it has come through just fine.
