My girlfriend and I flew to Salt Lake City for T-Day. Great tail wind
going over. 435 kt miles in 3 hours. At one point we were doing 202
knots on the GPS.

The trip home was slower. 4 hours.

I noticed an interesting phemonemon. My flaps are set high and I
normally fine tune the degree of flaps based on fuel loading and the
location of the CG. Apparently, the flaps are not 100% symmetric, left
to right. At the full "UP" position, the left wing felt a little
heavy. Tapping the flaps down a few degrees removed the heavy wing. A
few more degrees gave me a heavier right wing. I found I could correct
an imbalanced fuel load with flap position.

Gary,

When you say that your flaps are set high, do you mean that they are
reflexed upward past the norm?

Thanks.

No, it wasn't. Not sure to which part you are referring.

Oh, well, I think it's well known how I feel about wasting money on
electric aileron trim.

So, Eddie, how's it going? Did you have a good T-Day? Getting ready
for Xmas? Flying a lot??? What are you doing for New Years???
